An elderly client wanted to convert a large garage with a small yard into a small summer house with a patio area which she could fill with potted plants, but also wanted to maintain an area for storage.
The first phase was to remove the front half of the garage, alter the existing roof to suit, install new interior and exterior lighting.
The second phase involved the interior. We built floor to ceiling cupboards and decorated the walls. The floor was resurfaced and finished with lino.
We worked closely with the client discussing options that met with her wishes.
The client now has a small patio area to look out onto from the comfort of her summer house during the colder months of the year. An overhang on the roof provides a shaded seating area in the summer.
